The saved body of
Christ (saved believers) on this earth is the true church, but what about the physical place of
worship itself?
It should be a place specifically dedicated to the Lord God holy and true without any defilement or perversion or it will be hindered.
Then said
the Lord to him, Put off thy shoes from thy feet: for the place where thou
standest is holy ground – Acts 7:33
The pastor and the people he chooses for his ministry team should
not be defiled or perverted.
What?
know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you,
which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? – 1 Corinthians 6:19
The church itself should not be just a social function with
a positive message, but it should be first and foremost a House of prayer and
worship unto the one true living God (YHWH Elohim), the King of Kings and Lord
of Lords Jesus Christ our Saviour.
Even them
will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer:
their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar;
for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people – Isaiah 56:7
And said
unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye
have made it a den of thieves – Matthew 21:13
But as
for me, I will come into thy house in the multitude of thy mercy: and in thy
fear will I worship toward thy holy temple – Psalm 5:7
Stand in
the gate of the Lord's house, and proclaim there this word, and say, Hear the
word of the Lord, all ye of Judah, that enter in at these gates to worship the
Lord – Jeremiah 7:1-3
The House of the Lord should be a place that ministers the
gospel of Christ without adding to or taking from the word of God.
That I
should be the minister of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles, ministering the gospel
of God, that the offering up of the Gentiles might be acceptable, being
sanctified by the Holy Ghost – Romans 15:16
If ye
continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope
of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature
which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister – Colossians 1:23
Unto whom
it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the
things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel
unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven; which things the angels
desire to look into – 1 Peter 1:12
For I
testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If
any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that
are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of
the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of
life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this
book – Revelation 22:18-19
What is the definition of the gospel of Christ by which
we’re saved?
Moreover,
brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also
ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye
keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in
vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received,
how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he
was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures –
1 Corinthians 15:1-4
The pastor, ministry and church should seek after the kingdom of God first themselves and teach others to
do the same. They should not be haughty, full of pride, self-centered or
selfish.
For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but
righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost – Romans 14:17
Pride
goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall – Proverbs 16:18
But many
that are first shall be last; and the last first – Mark 10:31
The pastor, ministry and church should allow the Holy Ghost to have complete and full control as well as liberty in them and the church service in general. The gifts of the Holy Spirit should also be sought after, taught and in operation both inside and outside the church. Keep in mind that every Christian church/denomination/non-denomination has a different operation and administration for the kingdom of God but by the same Spirit, hence there is only one God (Holy Spirit). In all sincerity, the true ministry and outreach for Jesus is really in the street, on your job, in the grocery store or basically.......in the public.
But ye
shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall
be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in
all Judaea, and in Samaria,
and unto the uttermost part of the earth – Acts 1:8
Now there
are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit – 1 Corinthians 12:4
Even so
ye, forasmuch as ye are zealous of spiritual gifts, seek that ye may excel to
the edifying of the church – 1 Corinthians 14:12
Wherefore,
brethren, covet to prophesy, and forbid not to speak with tongues – 1
Corinthians 14:39
The pastor, ministry and church should walk in love
(charity) in every way to all people and not walk by the seeing of their eyes or
hearing of their ears and not ever judge the outward appearance. They better
forgive because they are forgiven by the father. They also better walk humble,
do justly and love mercy. These are the
primary ways in which we walk Christ-like.
Though I
speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become
as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal. And though I have the gift of
prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have
all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am
nothing. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I
give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.
Charity
suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself,
is not puffed up, Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is
not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but
rejoiceth in the truth; Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth
all things, endureth all things. Charity never faileth: but whether there
be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease;
whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away – 1 Corinthians 13:1-8
And shall
make him of quick understanding in the fear of the Lord: and he shall not judge
after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears –
Isaiah 11:3
But the
Lord said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his
stature; because I have refused him: for the Lord seeth not as man seeth; for
man looketh on the outward appearance, but the Lord looketh on the heart – 1
Samuel 16:7
Judge not
according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment – John 7:24
Forbearing
one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any:
even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye – Colossians 3:13
He hath
shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the Lord require of thee, but
to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God – Micah 6:8
Last but not least, the pastor, ministry and church should
be watchful and ready for the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ and teach that the consequences of not receiving Christ as the only Saviour and way to the Father & Heaven will result in souls receiving judgment spending eternity in hell (torment, darkness & separation) and fire.
Watch ye
therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these
things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man – Luke 21:36
And
whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of
fire – Revelation 20:15
This is just a short simple blog and answer on how the church and
place of worship should be today.
Here is just one small sample of writing from my new upcoming book dealing with the issue of division between denominations, churches and Christians:
For we being many are one bread, and one body: for we are all partakers of that one bread – 1 Corinthians 10:17
We see from these scriptures in 1 Corinthians 12 that there are many gifts of the Holy Spirit. There are different administrations and operations of the Spirit of God. Not everyone has the same gifts, but they are all given by the same Spirit. Not every denomination or church has the same administration or operation, but they all work by the same Spirit of God in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Remember, when I speak of a denomination or church, I am speaking of those that believe in the birth, life, crucifixion, burial, resurrection and teachings of Jesus Christ without adding to or taking away from the word of God.
There should have never been any spiritual divisions between churches, denominations and Christians in general. No church, denomination or individual saved themselves. We are all equal in the eyes of God. We can all only be saved through the Lord Jesus Christ. We all receive from the same Spirit of Christ (life) and Spirit of Power (Baptismal with fire in the Holy Ghost) because there is no other Spirit of God or Saviour. We are to love and care for one another and encourage one another as the word of God commands."
Here is just one small sample of writing from my new upcoming book dealing with the issue of division between denominations, churches and Christians:
“All people and Christians were brought together in one unified
body through the Lord Jesus Christ. Through Jesus we all have access by one
Spirit unto the Father. Denominations and divisions of the body of Christ came
along and have separated the body of Christ into many parts. There are
different and many members of the same body of Christ, but that’s not what I’m speaking
about. Do you think it was God’s will to have division? Think again. Do you
think it is God’s will to gossip, put down or belittle one another? Do you believe
it is God’s will for any specific denomination to be filled up with pride and
haughtiness claiming they are the only ones with the truth? The truth is in the
gospel of Jesus Christ and not in any one certain denomination or man. A church
is just a building with four walls built by man, but the Lord God built all
things (Hebrews 3:4). The Spirit of truth comes to and is in all churches that
preach and teach the gospel of Christ without adding to or taking away from the
word of God. Watch what you preach and teach denominations, pastors and
teachers. Do not teach judgment, separation or hate against your own brothers
and sisters in Christ just because they attend a different denomination or
church than you.

For as
the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body,
being many, are one body: so also is Christ – 1 Corinthians 12:12
Now there

same Spirit; To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to
another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues: But all these worketh that one and the
selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will – 1 Corinthians
12:4-11
We see from these scriptures in 1 Corinthians 12 that there are many gifts of the Holy Spirit. There are different administrations and operations of the Spirit of God. Not everyone has the same gifts, but they are all given by the same Spirit. have the same care one for another – 1 Corinthians 12:25
There should have never been any spiritual divisions between churches, denominations and Christians in general. No church, denomination or individual saved themselves. What is the purpose behind my hopeful upcoming new book “Drawing a Line in the Sand Revisited”, why was it written and what audience will it appeal to?
"My book was primarily written to reestablish God’s word which was already written and to also support creation. I wrote it to lift up the name of Jesus drawing a line in the sand against Satan and all those who bring and try to keep division in the body of Christ. Too many churches and denominations slander each other, backbite and separate themselves from one another just because of their denominational name, traditions, standards, customs or personal theological view and teachings. I witnessed this going on in various ways while living in Louisiana for thirty-four years. Certain denominations have always been divided against one another although there are many true spirit-filled, kind and loving Christians within every denomination and church. My book may also help bridge a gap between some Christians and denominations through biblical scripture. We are all one body as brothers and sisters in Christ no matter what denomination or church we attend as long as the GOSPEL OF CHRIST is being taught and preached. The gospel of Christ is the birth, life, teachings, crucifixion, death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. This book also contains a great deal of scripture verses for ease of memory, especially from what book, chapter and verse it is located.
My testimony to draw the line in the sand:
I received a prophetic message during a prayer service in Louisiana by a woman in 2008 that I would write a book that would help people, but I definitely didn’t know anything about book writing or publishing. I wrote this Christian book called “Drawing a Line in the Sand” and had it self-published in 2009 through AuthorHouse Publishing. I put my own money into the book but I never was satisfied with it at all. When I started writing the book I was grieving over the loss of my mother Vicki, and so it was a way for me to cope with her death which truly kept me grounded in the word of God.
The book was kind of boring and immaturely written and the Spirit of the Lord knew how I felt about it. I wrote some things that I believe were not correct as well. The last section of the book that I wrote on end-times was something that I was not ready to write back then, so I completely removed it. I have grown immensely as a writer since 2008 both in wisdom as well as knowledge on the word of God. Writing and self publishing my first book was definitely a growing and learning experience for me and I learned a lot even about marketing. However, the book did have potential and served as well as a biblical study guide. I really had to just spend some time rewriting, updating, editing and most importantly defining the purpose of my book.
I learned a great lesson to not ever rush something that you are meant to take time with it. Put true quality into your work and not quantity. I received two more prophetic messages in 2013 and 2014 by a man at the church where I currently attend in Washington State. I knew the prophetic message for me was from God because this man didn’t know me at all. The first time he came up to me out of the blue and said, “You’ve stopped writing, and God wants you to write.” You could imagine how I felt because this man didn’t know me at all and it was true. I did stop writing and was discouraged, but that really encouraged me and so I created a facebook, twitter page and a blog for writing. The second prophecy I received from the same man again in early 2014 was a message about God using my writings to help many people. He said that my writings would even go into dark places to reach people where others have not. I knew in my heart and spirit that I needed to rewrite and revise my first book and then get it published again. I began writing on two books at once. The first was rewriting “Drawing a Line in the Sand”, and thank God I have accomplished that. The second book I am currently writing is on the rise of the Antichrist. It will be about the last days but with a new twist that no other end-time book offers that I know of.
