Cool, interesting and important biblical facts:

Facts that everything was created precisely and perfectly:

“Our earth is 93,000,000 miles from the sun. Five percent closer and we would be a hothouse like Venus with no chance for life. If we were twenty percent farther away, we would be a frozen wasteland like Mars. We're just right. Liquid water is necessary for life and our earth has an abundance all yearlong"— Dr. Ray Bohlin.

The Holy Bible proved the Earth was round before anyone else did: "He sits enthroned above the circle of the earth..." (Isaiah 40:22).

"He spreads out the northern (skies) over empty space; he suspends the earth over nothing" (Job 26:7).

How about some more science and creation facts:

The first mentioning of oceanography-paths of the sea-wind and the hydrologic cycle (Psalm 8:8, Job 36:27-28, Eccl. 1:6-7; 11:3; Job 26:8, Amos 9:6 2,  Samuel 22:16, Genesis 7:11 and  Job 28:25 )

The mentioning of cosmic universe-stars and our solar system (Job 9:9, 38:31, Amos 5:8, 1 Corinthians 15:41, Genesis 15:5 and Jer. 31:35)

Jeremiah 10:10-12 “But the Lord is the true God, he is the living God, and an everlasting king: at his wrath the earth shall tremble, and the nations shall not be able to abide his indignation. Thus shall ye say unto them, The gods that have not made the heavens and the earth, even they shall perish from the earth, and from under these heavens. He hath made the earth by his power, he hath established the world by his wisdom, and hath stretched out the heavens by his discretion.”

Wealth & Money:

The book of Deuteronomy 8:18 reads “But thou shalt remember the Lord thy God:  for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth.”

Ecclesiastes 5:19 “Every man also to whom God hath given riches and wealth, and hath given him power to eat thereof, and to take his portion, and to rejoice in his labour; this is the gift of God.”

Ecclesiastes 10:19 “A feast is made for laughter, and wine maketh merry: but money answereth all things.”

Proverbs 13:22 “A good man leaveth an inheritance to his children's children: and the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the just.”

Having riches, wealth and prosperity is a blessing and gift from God. The Lord does not want us to be so consumed with riches and material possessions so that we take our eyes off him and become even a believer who is not watchful or ready for his coming.  We can be blessed, but we have to be willing to let go of the material things of this life.  We have to be willing to honor God with what he gives us.

3 John 1:2 “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in (good)health, even as thy soul prospereth.”
Mark 8:36 “For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?”

1 Timothy 6:10 “For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.”

How special is Israel and the Jewish people to God?

Deuteronomy 14:2 “For thou art an holy people unto the Lord thy God, and the Lord hath chosen thee to be a peculiar people unto himself, above all the nations that are upon the earth.”

Deuteronomy 7:6 “For thou art an holy people unto the Lord thy God: the Lord thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth.”

Isaiah 54:5 “For thy Maker is thine husband; the Lord of hosts is his name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall he be called.”

There is has been no other race of people who have been through more adversity than the Hebrew/Jewish people.  They suffered at the hands many including the Egyptians, Babylonians, Persians, Romans and German Nazi’s.  According to many other empires throughout the ages the Jews should have been destroyed but they have thrived, prospered and been kept safe by the hand of God.  Look how small Israel is even with enemies surrounding them on all sides. God made a promise in his word concerning Israel and this is what he said from the book of Jeremiah and no man can deny it:

Jeremiah 35:35-36 “Thus saith the Lord, which giveth the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, which divideth the sea when the waves thereof roar; The Lord of hosts is his name:  If those ordinances depart from before me, saith the Lord, then the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before me for ever.”

Israel will never cease from being a nation according to God.

Interesting Biblical Facts:

Mark 2:10 “But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth
to forgive sins.”

Jesus has the power to forgive us of all our sins when we ask.  This also means that we can confess our sins unto God through Jesus and be forgiven.  We do not have to go to a priest for this to take place.  Jesus is our high priest, mediator and advocate unto the Father (Hebrews 4:14, 1 Timothy 2:5, 1 John 2:1).
1 John 2:1-2 “My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not.  And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:  And he is the propitiation for our sins:  and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.”

Here is a scripture proving that one specific denominational church, church name or pastor is not the only one with the truth (gospel of Christ) or not the only church that God anoints and uses:
Mark 9:38-40 “And John answered him, saying Master, we saw one casting out devils in thy name, and he followeth not us: and we forbad him, because he followeth not us.  But Jesus said, Forbid him not: for there is no man which shall do a miracle in my name, that can lightly speak evil of me, For he that is not against us is on our part.”

Here is scripture revealing the first man who went to paradise (heaven) right after Jesus died on the cross:
Luke 23:39-43 “And one of the malefactors which were hanged railed on him, saying, If thou be Christ, save thyself and us.  But the other answering rebuked him, saying Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation?  And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds:  but this man hath done nothing amiss.  And he said unto Jesus, Lord remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom.  And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, Today shalt thou be with me in paradise.”

The Blood of Jesus that was spilled delivered this man from eternal damnation just as it will for us all today.
On the outward appearance this man hanging on the cross beside Jesus was a criminal.  God saw into his heart what no one else could see.  He must have repented in his heart and believed that Jesus was the Son of God (the Messiah).  He got a free pass into paradise.

Is there anyone that has never died that God took to heaven?

It is appointed unto every man to die once (Hebrews 9:27), but there are two exceptions of two men who did not die.  The first is Enoch (Genesis 5:24, Hebrews 11:5) and the other is Elijah (2 Kings 2:1, 2:11, Malachi 4:5).  We can come to the conclusion that because Enoch and Elijah never received death that these two may possibly be the two witnesses the book of Revelation speaks about during the great tribulation.
If this is true since every man is appointed to die once, then the two witnesses (Elijah and Enoch) would be killed by the beast (Revelation 11:7) and then after three and half days are resurrected and taken up to heaven (Revelation 11:11-12).
There is speculation that Moses instead of Enoch may be the other witness along with Elijah.  Moses represented the Law and Elijah represented the prophets.  Moses and Elijah may be the two olive trees representing two sons of oil (two anointed ones) from Zechariah 4:3-14.

Did you know that we have a spirit, soul and body? (1 Thessalonians 5:23)

When you die where does your spirit, soul and body go? Zechariah 12:1 reads “The burden of the word of the Lord for Israel, saith the Lord, which stretcheth forth the heavens, and layeth the foundation of the earth, and formeth the spirit of man within him.”
When you die, your spirit goes back to God (Ecclesiastes 12:7).  Your “soul” goes to paradise (heaven) or torment (hell) awaiting the judgment to spend eternal life in heaven or eternal death in hell (Revelation 20:12-15).  Your body perishes turning back to dust (Job 34:15).  When the Lord comes back again our (saved believers) bodies will be raised again incorruptible and immortal (1 Corinthians 15:52, Matthew 27:52, Romans 8:11, 2 Corinthians 4:14, 1 Thessalonians 4:14-17).

1 Thessalonians 4:16 “For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:”

Is there scripture revealing whether or not we will still be married or given in marriage in heaven?
Matthew 22:30 “For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven.”
However, we will love and know each other spending all eternity together with everyone you love who is saved in Jesus.  Notice that this scripture doesn’t say anything about those who are already married who go to heaven which leaves room for speculation that only God knows.

How do I know if we will recognize each other? Even the rich man in torment (hell) recognized Abraham and the beggar named Lazarus in paradise (Luke 16:23-31) although there was a gulf fixed between them than no one could cross.  This was in the spiritual realm.
Those who have died since the beginning of time even until this day forward who were wicked and did not believe in God or Jesus Christ after the New Testament and his message of salvation are in hell and torment (Luke 16:23). They are not in the lake of fire, but they are in a level of hell (Hades), which is torment and darkness.  The lake of fire is reserved for the everlasting punishment and judgment of the Devil and his angels, and whose names are not found written in the Lamb’s book of life (Rev. 20:15, 21:8). There are levels of heaven, just as there are levels of hell.
2 Corinthians 12:2 “I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) such an one caught up to the third heaven.”
Once again, there is a great gulf (divider) fixed between paradise and hell so that no soul can pass across either way (Luke 16:26).

Can you die before your appointed time? Yes you can and here is the scripture. Ecclesiastes 7:17 “Be not over much wicked, neither be thou foolish: why shouldest thou die before thy time?”
This scripture reveals that you can indeed die before your appointed time.  A person can indeed die by living wicked or doing something foolish causing themselves or others to die.  Can this be prevented? Yes, salvation in Jesus, faith and prayer can change many things.

Remember, God gives us choices in this life and to choose blessings or cursing.  God also lets us know through scripture that people perish because of a lack of knowledge (Hosea 4:6), not only in this life but also after death.  Receiving and having the knowledge of the gospel of Jesus Christ in your heart and spirit can and will keep you from dying an eternal death after passing away.  You can also read the book of Proverbs chapter 10 and see that the wicked or if you live a wicked life then your life will be shortened.  Here are scriptures, especially for young people, which let you know what you can do to live long and well.  Ephesians chapter 6 gives us this vital info.
Ephesians 6:1-3 “CHILDREN, obey your parents in the Lord; for this is right.  Honour thy father and mother; which is the first commandment with promise; That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.”

There is always this question brought up that I must answer.  If a person dies and never gets to hear of the gospel and message of Jesus Christ will he go to hell (Hades)?  The answer may possibly be ‘No’ according to this scripture.  God is the only one who can decide this for HE is our only judge.
John 15:22 “If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin: but now they have no cloak (excuse) for their sin.”  Every person whom has heard the gospel of Jesus Christ has no excuse or cloak for their sin.  They have an opportunity and choice to receive salvation in Jesus.
God is a just God and may not condemn a person who has never heard the message of Jesus Christ.  The souls of babies who are aborted also do not go to hell, but they go to paradise.  Any person (soul) that is too young to live a life of sin yet to repent of, such as a little child, whom by the word of God is innocent and called as like the kingdom of God (Matthew 18:3, Mark 10:14) will be in paradise after death as well.

What does it mean to search for God with all your heart? The Holy Spirit led me to these scriptures concerning this question:
Jeremiah 29:12-13 “Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you.  And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.”

Psalm 119:1-8 “BLESSED are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law (commandments) of the Lord.  Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, and that seek him with the whole heart.  They also do no iniquity: they walk in his ways.  Thou hast commanded us to keep thy precepts diligently.  O that my ways were directed to keep thy statutes!  Then shall I not be ashamed, when I have respect unto all thy commandments.  I will praise thee with uprightness of heart, when I shall have learned thy righteous judgments.  I will keep thy statutes: O forsake me not utterly.”

"The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom" (Ps. 111:10).

Who were the first two men that the bible reveals in scripture were filled with the spirit of God or who the Spirit of God dwells? Their names were Joseph (son of Jacob) and Bezaleel.

Genesis 41:38-39 “And Pharaoh said unto his servants, Can we find such a one as this is, a man in whom the Spirit of God is? And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, Forasmuch as God hath shewed thee all this, there is none so discreet and wise as thou art:”

Exodus 31:1-3 “And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, See, I have called by name Bezaleel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah: And I have filled him with the spirit of God, in wisdom, and in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship,”
