Can any man or woman be perfect or considered perfect?

Can any man or woman be perfect or considered perfect at least in comparison to Christ?

The answer is no.  Jesus Christ was sinless, blameless and spotless from birth to death.  If we have ever sinned in our life since birth then we will never be “perfect” or considered a perfect person.  We already have blame and spots that are graciously covered by the blood of the Lamb Jesus Christ.

If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us – 1 John 1:10

Can any man or woman walk in perfect obedience through faith and trust in Jesus Christ?

The answer to that is yes.  As Christians, we can even walk without sin for seasons or longer but only through God’s strength and our faith as well as trust in Him to keep us from falling even providing ways to escape any and every sin.  This is not about self-righteousness or the cliché “I’ve got one up on you”.  This is about trusting God to deliver you from and out of whatever the sin may be. However, the final choice is up to you…even Jesus was tempted by Satan under some very extreme conditions during important key moments.  Jesus resisted and because HE overcame then so can we through him…

If you’re resisting sin to please the Father in Heaven then you are doing what’s right in the sight of God…….if you’re trying to resist sin for other reasons then you will fall and it will not be fulfilling.  Any man or woman can walk upright and perfect in the Lord through the Holy Ghost but it is not easy and it takes trust and faith.
Will you receive some forms of persecution as well as jealousy, envy, slander and hate from others if you walk upright in the Lord God? Yes you will…but you have to always be humble and not lift your own self up…God will lift your head up for you even through others.

But thou, O Lord, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head – Psalm 3:3

We can only walk upright in God resisting sin through the power of the Holy Ghost.  HE gives us a way to escape every time, but it’s up to us to take his hand.

There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it – 1 Corinthians 10:13

We overcome this life and even the sins of this life through Christ and when we do fall and sin we have an Advocate unto the Father to forgive us of our sins.

My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous – 1 John 2:1

Should it matter if we sin since we can be forgiven every time and grace is applied? Yes it does matter and the word of God warns us to abstain from sin because our spiritual enemies desire to kill, steal and destroy us even with the littlest foothold we give.  God shows us a better way…but we can do it our own way and HE will let us, even though we’ll receive torment, pain, suffering and even chastisement because of it.

Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour – 1 Peter 5:8

The thief (Satan) cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly – John 10:10

You can overcome…Trust in Him…….

These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world – John 16:33

Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world – 1 John 4:4

For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith – 1 John 5:4

The Holy Ghost searches our hearts which means HE can read our thoughts as well.  God gave us everything that we needed through Jesus Christ (Holy Spirit) to overcome this life, the Devil, sin and the flesh.  The choice is ours…….We can “do it our way” or do it God’s way and have true victory.  The bible warns us many times to abstain from sin and to not allow the Devil to get a foothold in our life.  This is not about being “perfect”, but this is about having victory over Satan and the sins of this life and to both defeat and escape the pits, fiery darts, traps, devices and nets our spiritual enemies uses.  This is also about overcoming our own flesh…

Many times we cope with things in this life with sin because it gives temporary relief from the pain, hurt, heartache and anger…but sinning to cope confounds the problem and entangles us even worse and we’ve all been there at some point and time in our life…….What if you said “NO” this time…what would happen…possibly a miracle and you may not find out until you do.

But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed – James 1:14

Neither give place to the devil – Ephesians 4:27

and do not give the devil a foothold – Ephesians 4:27 NLT

There is an incident in the word of God where Jesus healed a man who had an infirmity for 38 years.  This is what Jesus told him after HE healed him…

Afterward Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee – John 5:14

Sometimes we experience hurtful things and torment in our life even though we haven’t sinned but these trials are always only for seasons, growth in the Lord and for the Glory of God.  One perfect example is the story of Job.

Who do you choose to serve this day…yourself and the flesh…or God?

Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect – Matthew 5:48

How can we be perfect according to Matthew 5:48? By walking in love and obedience through the Holy Spirit.

Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin – John 8:34

Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness – Romans 6:18

When we receive salvation in Christ believing in the gospel of Christ by faith then we begin our journey in God.  The Christian walk is an ever-growing process of falling and getting back up to having true victory over sin by seeking righteousness (Jesus Christ) and the kingdom of God first.  We are the righteousness of God through Christ….…Do we stop there? No, because we must continue to seek after the kingdom of God and the Holy Spirit (Ghost) which ultimately allows us to walk in obedience desiring the spirit over the flesh and desiring obedience over sin.

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you – Matthew 6:33

Don't give up ... be a fighter and warrior in Christ!

Our full hope, salvation and refuge is in Jesus Christ

What is the purpose behind my hopeful upcoming new book “Drawing a Line in the Sand Revisited”, why was it written and what audience will it appeal to?

"My book was primarily written to reestablish God’s word which was already written and to also support creation. I wrote it to lift up the name of Jesus drawing a line in the sand against Satan and all those who bring and try to keep division in the body of Christ. Too many churches and denominations slander each other, backbite and separate themselves from one another just because of their denominational name, traditions, standards, customs or personal theological view and teachings. I witnessed this going on in various ways while living in Louisiana for thirty-four years. Certain denominations have always been divided against one another although there are many true spirit-filled, kind and loving Christians within every denomination and church. My book may also help bridge a gap between some Christians and denominations through biblical scripture. We are all one body as brothers and sisters in Christ no matter what denomination or church we attend as long as the GOSPEL OF CHRIST is being taught and preached. The gospel of Christ is the birth, life, teachings, crucifixion, death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. This book also contains a great deal of scripture verses for ease of memory, especially from what book, chapter and verse it is located.
We are to love, care for, encourage and lift up one another. God created diversity not division.

I wrote my book to answer many questions people have. I also wrote it to share valuable information, sources, links as well as empower people through facts and biblical scripture guided by the Holy Spirit on several topics, but under four major categories which are: Salvation, Holy Ghost, Water Baptism and Divisions in the body of Christ. The book itself is an excellent study guide.

I pray and hope that my book can and will be used as a tool for the kingdom of God and to reach the lost.”

My testimony to draw the line in the sand:

I received a prophetic message during a prayer service in Louisiana by a woman in 2008 that I would write a book that would help people, but I definitely didn’t know anything about book writing or publishing. I wrote this Christian book called “Drawing a Line in the Sand” and had it self-published in 2009 through AuthorHouse Publishing.  I put my own money into the book but I never was satisfied with it at all. When I started writing the book I was grieving over the loss of my mother Vicki, and so it was a way for me to cope with her death which truly kept me grounded in the word of God.
The book was kind of boring and immaturely written and the Spirit of the Lord knew how I felt about it. I wrote some things that I believe were not correct as well. The last section of the book that I wrote on end-times was something that I was not ready to write back then, so I completely removed it.  I have grown immensely as a writer since 2008 both in wisdom as well as knowledge on the word of God.  Writing and self publishing my first book was definitely a growing and learning experience for me and I learned a lot even about marketing.  However, the book did have potential and served as well as a biblical study guide.  I really had to just spend some time rewriting, updating, editing and most importantly defining the purpose of my book.
I learned a great lesson to not ever rush something that you are meant to take time with it.  Put true quality into your work and not quantity.  I received two more prophetic messages in 2013 and 2014 by a man at the church where I currently attend in Washington State.  I knew the prophetic message for me was from God because this man didn’t know me at all.  The first time he came up to me out of the blue and said, “You’ve stopped writing, and God wants you to write.” You could imagine how I felt because this man didn’t know me at all and it was true.  I did stop writing and was discouraged, but that really encouraged me and so I created a facebook, twitter page and a blog for writing. The second prophecy I received from the same man again in early 2014 was a message about God using my writings to help many people. He said that my writings would even go into dark places to reach people where others have not.  I knew in my heart and spirit that I needed to rewrite and revise my first book and then get it published again.  I began writing on two books at once. The first was rewriting “Drawing a Line in the Sand”, and thank God I have accomplished that.  The second book I am currently writing is on the rise of the Antichrist.  It will be about the last days but with a new twist that no other end-time book offers that I know of.

Let God draw a line in the sand today against the gates of hell in your life.  Don't give up, BE a fighter...

I have several writings in my blog which has received some small publicity and now almost 2,000 views. So far the writing that has received the most views is a sample writing from my manuscript on Enoch, Noah, giants and the flood along with so much more.  Feel free to check it out.......

This is my attempt at a self-made promo video for my new hopeful upcoming book called "Drawing a Line in the Sand Revisited." Really I just like the song lol, but the video reveals reasons why my book was written as well as some questions & topics answered and covered in my work. The song playing during the video is called "Draw the Line" by the Christian rock band 'Disciple'.
